FAQs

It shifts worship from mere external form to the inner reality: the Linga signifies Śiva as the indwelling support of prāṇa, and thus of all beings and worlds.

Śiva-tattva is implied as Pati—the ultimate ground by which prāṇa functions; since all that moves and does not move depends on prāṇa, the verse points to Śiva as the inner governor and sustaining consciousness behind life.

A prāṇa-centered inner worship aligned with Pāśupata Yoga—steadying the life-breath and recognizing Śiva as the antar-yāmin (inner ruler) within all embodied pashus.
