FAQs

It frames the cosmos (Brahmāṇḍa and the bhuvanas) as the ordered field in which the Linga’s supremacy is later understood—Shiva as Pati is the ground of creation, and Linga worship aligns the pashu (soul) with that cosmic order.

Implicitly, it presents creation as intelligible and structured; in Shaiva Siddhanta, such order points to Pati (Shiva) as the governing consciousness behind the Brahmāṇḍa, while the described worlds belong to the realm where pashu and pasha operate.

No specific puja-vidhi is stated in this verse; the takeaway is preparatory—cosmic contemplation (brahmāṇḍa-dhyāna) that supports Pashupata-oriented insight by situating the practitioner within Shiva’s created order.
