Adhyaya 40: Kali-yuga Lakshana, Yuga-sandhyamsha, and the Re-emergence of Dharma

बहुयाजनको लोको भविष्यति परस्परम् नाव्याहृतक्रूरवाक्यो नार्जवी नानसूयकः

bahuyājanako loko bhaviṣyati parasparam nāvyāhṛtakrūravākyo nārjavī nānasūyakaḥ

众人将彼此热衷于多行祭祀与仪轨,却不肯止息粗暴之言;既无坦直之心,亦不离嫉妒之毒。于是他们被内在过失之绳(pāśa)所缚,而非以对主宰帕提——湿婆尊主——的真实奉爱(bhakti)而得净化。
