ईशानकल्पवृत्तान्तः तथा लैङ्गपुराणस्य संक्षेप-सूची

उद्वाहः शंकरस्याथ पुत्रोत्पादनमेव च मैथुनातिप्रसङ्गेन विनाशो जगतां भयम्

Transliteration

udvāhaḥ śaṃkarasyātha putrotpādanameva ca maithunātiprasaṅgena vināśo jagatāṃ bhayam

Translation

于是他们希求圣者商羯罗的婚配，并且确要诞生一子；因为当男女交合过度之时，便会招致诸世界的毁灭——此乃一切众生之大怖畏。
