梵天见到祂时,仍与禅观相应,便以心意归依那遍一切的摩诃伊湿伐罗(大自在天),祂是诸世界的至上维持者与安立者。
Suta Goswami (narrating Brahma’s inner act of surrender)
It establishes the inner prerequisite of Linga-upāsanā: before outward worship, one should take mental refuge (manasā śaraṇam) in Maheshvara as the cosmic support (lokadhātā).
Shiva is presented as Pati—the all-pervading Vibhū and Loka-maheśvara—who upholds the worlds; Brahmā’s surrender implies that even the creator functions under Shiva’s supreme lordship.
Dhyāna-yoga with śaraṇāgati: concentrated contemplation culminating in inner surrender, a key Pāśupata orientation where the pashu (soul) turns toward Pati to loosen pasha (bondage).
