FAQs

It specifies concrete puja-upakaraṇas (ritual implements/offerings) to be prepared, emphasizing disciplined, intentional worship of the Linga rather than casual devotion.

By prescribing ordered offerings, it implies Shiva as Pati—the transcendent Lord—who is approached through purity, method, and devotion, enabling the pashu (soul) to loosen pasha (bondage).

A puja-vidhi detail: preparing prescribed items (gold piece, fan, staff, ink-pot, stylus) as part of worship/dāna-linked observance, supporting inner discipline aligned with Shaiva practice.
