又那位光辉灿然、侍立在薄伽梵身侧者是谁?她忽然如被遮隐般消失无踪——这一切我都愿知晓。

Secondary Rasa: shanta
Indirectly, it shows that divine reality can be experienced as manifest (radiant presence) and also as withdrawn (antarhita), pointing to a Lord whose appearance and concealment are governed by divine will rather than ordinary perception.
The verse foregrounds jijnāsā (spiritual inquiry) and attentive witnessing of divine manifestation and withdrawal—an inner discipline aligned with Purāṇic yoga where devotion and discernment mature into steady contemplative understanding.
By centering on Bhagavān’s transcendent, self-concealing power, it supports the Kurma Purana’s broader non-sectarian tone: the supreme Lord is one reality approached through different divine forms, including Shaiva and Vaishnava expressions.
