眼睛被造为观瞻圣像等诸圣物，并能除去自无始以来积聚的垢染。皮肤亦然：为触及与亲近真正的毗湿奴信众（Vaiṣṇava），并为涂染“尼尔玛利耶”(nirmālya)之芬芳——即已奉献于主的花鬘余香。
