Rite of Investing Hari with the Pavitra

गायत्त्र्या चार्चितं तेन देवं संपूज्य दापयेत् / समं पुत्रकलत्राद्यैः सूत्रपुच्छं तु धारयेत्

Transliteration

gāyattryā cārcitaṃ tena devaṃ saṃpūjya dāpayet / samaṃ putrakalatrādyaiḥ sūtrapucchaṃ tu dhārayet

Translation

以伽雅特丽（Gāyatrī）礼敬神明并如法圆满供献之后，应施行所规定的布施。随后与儿子、妻子及诸眷属一同，佩戴带有穗端（sūtra-puccha）的圣线。
