Related Themes: Garuda Purana 1.140 (continuing vaṁśa narration)
This verse shows the Purana’s method of preserving sacred lineages, linking later teachings and characters to an authoritative ancestral chain.
It does not directly describe the soul’s post-death journey; it is a lineage verse establishing ancestry within the broader Purana narrative.
Use it as a reminder of continuity and responsibility—honoring one’s lineage and living so that one’s actions become worthy to be remembered.
