Nārāyaṇa-kavaca — The Armor of Lord Nārāyaṇa
na kutaścid bhayaṁ tasya vidyāṁ dhārayato bhavet rāja-dasyu-grahādibhyo vyādhy-ādibhyaś ca karhicit
In Bhagavatam 6.8.37, it is said that one who firmly holds the Nārāyaṇa-kavaca knowledge becomes free from fear from any direction, including threats from rulers, thieves, hostile beings, and even disease.
Because the chapter teaches a devotional ‘shield’ centered on Nārāyaṇa; Shukadeva emphasizes its effect—steadfast shelter in the Lord’s protection neutralizes external dangers and internal anxieties.
By sincerely taking shelter of Nārāyaṇa through remembrance and prayer, and by maintaining steady devotional practice, one cultivates fearlessness and resilience even amid social threats, uncertainty, and health anxieties.
