Soma Pacifies the Pracetās; Dakṣa’s Haṁsa-guhya Prayers; Hari Grants Creative Power
eṣā pañcajanasyāṅga duhitā vai prajāpateḥ asiknī nāma patnītve prajeśa pratigṛhyatām
Asiknī is described here as the daughter of the Prajāpati Pañcajana, given in marriage to Dakṣa to assist the expansion of progeny.
In this narrative, Brahmā guides the work of creation by establishing lawful family life, so that progeny may expand through dharmic marriage rather than disorder.
It highlights honoring dharma through responsible relationships and accepting duties that support society—family life guided by higher principles, not mere impulse.
