Vidura’s Return; Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Departure; Nārada’s Instruction on Kāla and Detachment
ity ukto dharma-rājena sarvaṁ tat samavarṇayat yathānubhūtaṁ kramaśo vinā yadu-kula-kṣayam
This verse states that the full report was given in order, but the Yadu-kula destruction was withheld—implying it was too grave and sensitive to disclose at that moment to Dharmaraja.
Suta Gosvami narrates that, when King Yudhishthira (Dharmaraja) asked, the messenger/witness described events as experienced, with one exception: the Yadu dynasty’s destruction.
Speak truthfully and systematically from direct experience, but use discernment about timing and emotional capacity when sharing painful news.
