śrī-śuka uvāca aṁśumāṁś ca tapas tepe gaṅgānayana-kāmyayā kālaṁ mahāntaṁ nāśaknot tataḥ kālena saṁsthitaḥ

舒迦提婆·高斯瓦弥继续说道：阿ṁ舒曼王为求将圣恒河引至人间，长久修行苦行；然而仍未能使恒河降临此世，随后随时而逝。
