The Yadu–Vṛṣṇi–Andhaka Genealogies and the Purpose of Kṛṣṇa’s Advent
मिश्रकेश्यामप्सरसि वृकादीन् वत्सकस्तथा । तक्षपुष्करशालादीन् दुर्वाक्ष्यां वृक आदधे ॥ ४३ ॥
miśrakeśyām apsarasi vṛkādīn vatsakas tathā takṣa-puṣkara-śālādīn durvākṣyāṁ vṛka ādadhe
其后,Vatsaka王由其妻、天女Miśrakeśī生子,以Vṛka为首。Vṛka由妻Durvākṣī生子:Takṣa、Puṣkara、Śāla等。
It states that from the Apsarā Miśrakeśī, Vatsaka had sons beginning with Vṛka.
Śukadeva Gosvāmī is narrating these dynastic details to King Parīkṣit as part of the lineage accounts in Canto 9.
They train the reader to honor sacred history, remember the continuity of dharma through generations, and cultivate attentiveness to the Lord’s unfolding plan across time.
