Nārada’s Arrival, the Nine Yogendras, and the Foundations of Bhāgavata-dharma
śrī-śuka uvāca rājann evaṁ kṛta-praśno vasudevena dhīmatā prītas tam āha devarṣir hareḥ saṁsmārito guṇaiḥ
This verse states that by hearing or being reminded of Hari’s qualities (guṇaiḥ), a saintly speaker’s remembrance is awakened, and he becomes pleased to speak—showing that Hari-kathā kindles devotion and divine recollection.
Because Vasudeva’s intelligent, sincere inquiry pleased the sage, and the glorification of Lord Hari’s qualities stirred Nārada’s remembrance, inspiring him to reply.
Ask sincere questions about spiritual life and regularly hear/chant the Lord’s qualities; such association and hari-kathā naturally awaken remembrance and devotion.
