गृहार्थी सदृशीं भार्यामुद्वहेदजुगुप्सिताम् । यवीयसीं तु वयसा यां सवर्णामनुक्रमात् ॥ ३९ ॥
gṛhārthī sadṛśīṁ bhāryām udvahed ajugupsitām yavīyasīṁ tu vayasā yāṁ sa-varṇām anu kramāt
欲建立家室者，应娶同一种姓、无可指摘且年纪较轻之妻。若欲纳多妻，则须在初婚之后依次迎娶，并且每位妻子应按次序出自逐级较低的种姓。
