स एव पुरुषस्तस्मादण्डं निर्भिद्य निर्गत: । सहस्रोर्वङ्घ्रिबाह्वक्ष: सहस्राननशीर्षवान् ॥ ३५ ॥
sa eva puruṣas tasmād aṇḍaṁ nirbhidya nirgataḥ sahasrorv-aṅghri-bāhv-akṣaḥ sahasrānana-śīrṣavān
那位普鲁沙(摩诃毗湿奴)虽卧于因果海,却仍从中显现;他破开宇宙之卵,以金胎(Hiraṇyagarbha)之身进入每一宇宙,示现毗罗阇身,具千足、千臂、千眼、千口、千首等。
The expansions of the planetary systems within each and every universe are situated in the different parts of the virāṭ-rūpa (universal form) of the Lord, and they are described as follows.
This verse states that the Supreme Person breaks open the cosmic egg and manifests the universal form, described with thousands of limbs, eyes, faces, and heads.
Śukadeva Gosvāmī describes the Supreme Puruṣa in His universal manifestation (Virāṭ-Puruṣa), portraying the cosmos as His form.
Seeing the world as connected to the Lord’s universal form encourages reverence, responsibility, and devotion—reducing exploitation and increasing God-centered living.
