Brahmā’s Day, the Four Pralayas, and the Supreme Shelter Beyond Cause–Effect
imāṁ vakṣyaty asau sūta ṛṣibhyo naimiṣālaye dīrgha-satre kuru-śreṣṭha sampṛṣṭaḥ śaunakādibhiḥ
Thus end the purports of the humble servants of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda to the Twelfth Canto, Fourth Chapter, of the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, entitled “The Four Categories of Universal Annihilation.”
Sūta Gosvāmī is the speaker at Naimiṣāraṇya who relays the Bhagavatam to the sages after being questioned by Śaunaka and others, embodying the Bhagavata’s paramparā-based transmission.
He points to the larger Bhagavatam frame-narrative: the same teachings are preserved and shared in saintly assemblies, where sincere inquiry draws out the full exposition.
Seek authentic teachings through guru-sādhu-śāstra, ask sincere questions in satsanga, and regularly hear (śravaṇa) sacred texts to deepen devotion and clarity.
