若有人以不移之专注,时时恒常诵读此《薄伽梵往世书》;又有人以信心聆听,哪怕仅一颂、半颂、一句或半句——也必定净化其自身之灵。
This verse states that hearing with faith—even one verse, half a verse, or even a fraction—purifies the listener’s very self, provided the mind is undivided and attentive.
Because the purifying effect is not merely from sound, but from devotional hearing (śravaṇam) done with śraddhā (faith) and ananya-dhī (undistracted focus), which allows the Bhāgavata’s message to transform the heart.
Set aside a brief daily slot to hear or read even one Bhāgavata verse with attention and faith—consistency and focused listening are highlighted here as spiritually purifying.
