In Canto 12, Chapter 11, the month Nabhas is governed by Indra, the Gandharva Viśvāvasu, the sage Śrotā, the Yakṣa Elāpatra, the Rākṣasa Aṅgirā, and the Apsarā Pramlocā.
Śukadeva explains to Parīkṣit that time is administered through ordered divine arrangements; various classes of beings are appointed to preside over the months and thus “carry forward” the cosmic schedule.
It encourages seeing time as sacred and regulated by higher order—prompting a devotee to use each month and season for disciplined sādhana, gratitude, and remembrance of the Supreme Lord who stands behind all cosmic administration.
