Kriyā-yoga, the Virāṭ-Puruṣa Mapping, and the Sun-God’s Monthly Expansions
dhātā kṛtasthalī hetir vāsukī rathakṛn mune pulastyas tumburur iti madhu-māsaṁ nayanty amī
In Bhagavatam 12.11.33, Śukadeva lists Dhātā, Kṛtasthalī, Heti, Vāsukī, Rathakṛt, Pulastya, and Tumburu as the presiding beings who conduct Madhu māsa.
He is explaining Vedic cosmology and time administration—how the Lord’s universal order is maintained through appointed presiding beings who assist the movement of the sun and the progression of months.
It encourages seeing time as sacred and divinely governed, inspiring disciplined living—using each month and season for sādhana, gratitude, and remembrance of the Supreme Lord.
