Sudāmā Brāhmaṇa: Divine Friendship, Guru-bhakti, and the Lord’s Grace
śrī-rājovāca bhagavan yāni cānyāni mukundasya mahātmanaḥ vīryāṇy ananta-vīryasya śrotum icchāmi he prabho
In this verse, King Parīkṣit expresses his desire to hear more of Mukunda’s unlimited deeds, highlighting that attentive hearing of Kṛṣṇa-kathā is central to bhakti.
As a devoted listener nearing the end of his life, Parīkṣit seeks deeper immersion in the Lord’s unlimited heroic deeds, drawing the narrative forward into further Kṛṣṇa-līlā.
Cultivate regular listening and reading of Bhagavatam—seeking more of Mukunda’s qualities and deeds—so the mind naturally turns toward devotion and inner clarity.
