This verse shows devotees and kings joyfully accepting assigned duties—cooking, honoring guests, serving elders, charity—indicating that sincere service in a sacred setting is itself dharma and devotion.
Śukadeva describes Kṛṣṇa personally performing humble service—washing feet—highlighting His līlā of teaching humility and honoring devotees, even while being the Supreme Lord.
Take up responsibilities cheerfully, serve elders and guests with respect, and see even ordinary tasks as offerings—this cultivates humility, harmony, and devotion.
