sa namaskṛtya kṛṣṇāya pareśāya kṛtāñjaliḥ rājñām āvedayad duḥkhaṁ jarāsandha-nirodha-jam
This verse shows that distress is brought before Kṛṣṇa—acknowledged as the Supreme Lord—because He is the ultimate refuge and protector who can remove the causes of suffering.
They were suffering because Jarāsandha had confined them; the messenger respectfully reported this imprisonment-born misery to Kṛṣṇa to seek relief.
When facing oppression, anxiety, or injustice, one can adopt the posture of surrender—humble prayer and honest reporting of one’s situation to the Lord—while seeking righteous solutions.
