The Deliverance of King Nṛga and the Warning Against Taking Brāhmaṇa Property
स उत्तम:श्लोककराभिमृष्टो विहाय सद्य: कृकलासरूपम् । सन्तप्तचामीकरचारुवर्ण: स्वर्ग्यद्भुतालङ्करणाम्बरस्रक् ॥ ६ ॥
sa uttamaḥ-śloka-karābhimṛṣṭo vihāya sadyaḥ kṛkalāsa-rūpam santapta-cāmīkara-cāru-varṇaḥ svargy adbhutālaṅkaraṇāmbara-srak
被“至上颂赞者”(乌त्त摩什洛迦)之手触及,那生命立刻舍弃蜥蜴之形,化为天界居民的身相。其肤色如熔金般华美,并佩戴奇妙的饰物、衣裳与花鬘。
This verse shows that contact with Śrī Kṛṣṇa—here, His hand—can instantly remove a degraded condition and restore one to a purified, auspicious state, illustrating the Lord’s supreme grace.
Because the Lord personally touched him, and by that divine intervention King Nṛga immediately abandoned his cursed lizard body and regained a heavenly, radiant form.
The verse encourages sincere surrender and devotion: even when consequences of past actions are severe, turning to the Lord with humility invites transformation and hope.
