Kṛṣṇa Leads Kālayavana to Mucukunda; The Yavana Is Burned; Mucukunda’s Prayers and Boon of Bhakti
चिरप्रजागरश्रान्तो निद्रयापहतेन्द्रिय: । शयेऽस्मिन् विजने कामं केनाप्युत्थापितोऽधुना ॥ ३२ ॥
cira-prajāgara-śrānto nidrayāpahatendriyaḥ śaye ’smin vijane kāmaṁ kenāpy utthāpito ’dhunā
我久醒而疲惫,睡意淹没诸根;因此在这寂静之处安然卧睡,直到方才有人将我唤醒。
King Mucukunda, who had been sleeping in a secluded cave due to a boon, is awakened and wonders who has disturbed his long rest.
He had been granted the boon to sleep undisturbed after long service in battle; when someone entered the cave and disturbed him, he spoke in surprise, not yet knowing it was connected to Krishna’s plan to defeat Kālayavana.
Even ordinary moments—like being awakened—can be part of the Lord’s larger arrangement; the verse reminds one to stay humble and attentive to how Krishna’s protection and purpose unfold in one’s life.
