This verse describes Vraja being swept and sprinkled clean, and decorated with colorful flags, banners, garlands, cloth, and leafy toranas—showing a joyful, devotional festival atmosphere for Krishna’s appearance.
Śukadeva Gosvāmī narrates these details to Mahārāja Parīkṣit while describing the celebrations in Nanda’s community after Krishna’s birth.
It highlights honoring divine occasions with cleanliness, beauty, and heartfelt celebration—transforming one’s home and community into a sacred space for remembering Krishna.
