FAQs

This verse portrays māyā as a “rope of delusion” binding one to family, wealth, home, and body, and teaches that only Kṛṣṇa’s grace can cut that bondage quickly.

Seeing Kṛṣṇa directly, Akrura recognizes that worldly ties are products of the Lord’s māyā and asks for liberation from those bindings so his devotion may be undivided.

Treat relationships and possessions as responsibilities rather than identity, and regularly pray for devotion and clarity so attachment to the body and ego does not dominate one’s choices.
