Kṛṣṇa Visits Trivakrā; Akrūra’s Praise and the Hastināpura Mission
तस्यै कामवरं दत्त्वा मानयित्वा च मानद: । सहोद्धवेन सर्वेश: स्वधामागमद् ऋद्धिमत् ॥ १० ॥
tasyai kāma-varaṁ dattvā mānayitvā ca māna-daḥ sahoddhavena sarveśaḥ sva-dhāmāgamad ṛddhimat
至仁的主宰一切众生之圣主奎师那赐予她满足欲愿之恩典,礼敬特里瓦克拉,并与乌达婆同返祂极其富丽的圣居。
All the ācāryas agree that the words kāma-varaṁ dattvā indicate that Lord Kṛṣṇa promised Trivakrā He would fulfill her lusty desires.
This verse shows Kṛṣṇa personally fulfills a devotee’s sincere desire and also honors them—His gifts are paired with respect and divine grace.
After completing the immediate purpose of meeting and blessing the devotee mentioned here, Kṛṣṇa returns to His residence, accompanied by Uddhava, His close confidant and messenger in Mathurā’s affairs.
Offer help generously, but also give dignity—respect people while assisting them, reflecting the Bhagavata ideal of compassionate, honor-giving conduct.
