Kṛṣṇa Comforts His Parents, Restores Ugrasena, Studies with Sāndīpani, and Returns the Guru’s Son
śrī-bhagavān uvāca guru-putram ihānītaṁ nija-karma-nibandhanam ānayasva mahā-rāja mac-chāsana-puraskṛtaḥ
This verse states that the guru’s son was brought there due to the binding force of his own karma, even as Kṛṣṇa directs his retrieval—showing karma’s operation under the Lord’s supreme control.
Kṛṣṇa issues a direct command to the addressed king, emphasizing that the act should be done with His order foremost—highlighting divine authority and the priority of serving the guru’s cause.
Make spiritual principles and guru-guidance your priority in decisions—acting with integrity, duty, and devotion rather than impulse—so actions align with dharma and bhakti.
