This verse says the Vraja residents were “protected by the arms of Krishna and Sankarshana,” indicating the Lord personally safeguards devotees and restores their peace.
It means their “fever” (jvara)—inner distress and anxiety—subsided because their minds were absorbed in Krishna and Balarama.
By steady remembrance and devotional focus on Krishna (through nama-japa, kirtana, and hearing), one’s mental “fever” reduces and clarity returns—mirroring the Vraja devotees’ relief.
