少女牧女们听说阿克鲁罗来到弗罗阇,要把罗摩与奎师那带往城中,便极度悲痛不安。
Because they heard Akrūra had arrived to take Balarāma and Kṛṣṇa from Vraja to the city (Mathurā), and the thought of separation from Kṛṣṇa caused them intense anguish.
Śukadeva Gosvāmī is narrating to King Parīkṣit, describing the gopīs’ reaction upon hearing the news of Kṛṣṇa’s departure.
Their pain shows the depth of loving attachment to God; a devotee can cultivate steady remembrance and sincere longing for Kṛṣṇa, turning separation into intensified devotion rather than distraction.
