Akrūra’s Journey to Vraja and His Devotional Vision of Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma

至上主的德性、行迹与降临皆极其吉祥;描绘这三者的言辞使世界得生机、增庄严、获净化,灭罪并生福。反之,离开他荣耀的言语,不过如尸身上的装饰。
Śrīla Śrīdhara Svāmī brings up the following possible objection: How can one who is devoid of ordinary ego, who is fully self-satisfied, engage in pastimes? The answer is given here. Lord Kṛṣṇa acts on the pure, spiritual platform for the pleasure of His loving devotees, not for any kind of mundane gratification.
This verse says that speech connected to Kṛṣṇa’s qualities, deeds, and divine appearance becomes supremely auspicious—giving life, beautifying, and purifying the entire world.
Because words lacking attachment to the Lord may be outwardly impressive, but they do not awaken the soul; without bhakti, speech is spiritually lifeless, like decorating a dead body.
Center your daily conversations, study, and media intake around uplifting remembrance—hearing, speaking, or sharing Kṛṣṇa’s names, qualities, and teachings—so your words become purifying rather than merely ornamental.
