स वै बको नाम महानसुरो बकरूपधृक् । आगत्य सहसा कृष्णं तीक्ष्णतुण्डोऽग्रसद् बली ॥ ४८ ॥
sa vai bako nāma mahān asuro baka-rūpa-dhṛk āgatya sahasā kṛṣṇaṁ tīkṣṇa-tuṇḍo ’grasad balī
那具巨身的妖魔名叫巴卡苏罗（Bakāsura），化作鹭鸟之形，喙极锋利。它一到那里，便猛然将克里希纳吞入口中。
