Gokula’s Wonder, Kṛṣṇa’s Bhakta-vaśyatā, the Move to Vṛndāvana, and the Slaying of Vatsāsura and Bakāsura

It appears that mother Yaśodā and Rohiṇī could not be separated from Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma even for a moment. They used to pass their time either by taking care of Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma or by chanting about Their pastimes. Thus mother Yaśodā and Rohiṇī looked very beautiful.
This verse shows Yaśodā and Rohiṇī joyfully eager to hear narrations of Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma, highlighting śravaṇam as a natural, devotion-awakening practice.
The scene places the mothers in a simple Vraja setting—together, attentive, and radiant—while the community exchanges and hears Kṛṣṇa’s childhood pastimes.
Make time for regular hearing—Bhagavatam readings, kīrtana talks, or satsanga—so the mind becomes naturally eager for divine topics rather than distractions.
