Vīrabhadra Destroys Dakṣa’s Sacrifice

他试图用咒语和武器砍下达克沙的头,但甚至连达克沙的皮肤都难以割破。维拉巴德拉因此感到极其困惑。
This verse states that even when struck by weapons and astras, Lord Śiva’s body was not pierced, and he responded by becoming thoughtful rather than immediately retaliating.
In the Dakṣa-yajña context, Śiva’s astonishment and prolonged contemplation highlight his restraint and the gravity of the situation, showing that he acts with deliberation rather than impulsive anger.
When provoked, cultivate steadiness and reflection before reacting—respond with discernment rather than being driven by anger or ego.
