达克沙与普拉苏蒂生下十六位莲目丽质的女儿。其中十三位嫁与达摩,一位嫁与火神阿耆尼。
This verse describes a lineage arrangement where sixteen daughters are born, with thirteen married to Dharma and one to Agni, showing how cosmic order (dharma) and sacrificial fire (agni) are established through progeny and alliances.
In this section Śukadeva outlines genealogies that connect major beings and principles (like Dharma and Agni) to the unfolding of creation and the moral-sacrificial framework of the universe.
It highlights the Bhagavatam’s emphasis on dharma (right order and responsibility) and agni (sacrifice/service), reminding a seeker to structure life around duty, purity, and offerings of one’s work to the Divine.
