Sukta 35
asmā́ id u tváṣṭā takṣád vájraṃ svápastamaṃ svaryáṃ raṇā́ya | vṛtrásya cid vídad yéna márma tujánn īśā́nas tujátā kiyedhā́ḥ
To him, yea verily, Tvaṣṭṛ fashioned the thunderbolt—most excellent in work, heaven-winning—for the battle; whereby he found, even of Vṛtra, the vital spot: thrusting, the sovereign, urged on to smite—how resistless in his onset!
Rishi: Ṛgvedic Indra-stotra seer-tradition (AV 20).
Devata: Indra (with Tvaṣṭṛ as artisan-agent in the mythic frame)
Chandas: Triṣṭubh
