घृतेन त्वा समुक्षाम्यग्न आज्येन वर्धयन्। अग्नेश्चन्द्रस्य सूर्यस्य मा प्राणं मायिनो दभन्
ghṛténa tvā samukṣā́my ágne ā́jyena vardháyan | agnéś candrásya sū́ryasya mā́ prāṇáṃ māyíno dabhan ||
With ghee I thoroughly anoint thee, O Agni, strengthening thee with oblation-butter. Let not the sorcerers assail thy vital breath—under Agni, under Moon, under Sun.
以酥油我遍涂汝，噢阿耆尼（Agni），并以供献之酥脂使汝增长。愿幻术之徒不侵害汝之气息——在阿耆尼之下，在月之下，在日之下。
