उत् ते स्तभ्नामि पृथिवीं त्वत् परीमं लोगं निदधन्मो अहं रिषम्। एतां स्थूणां पितरो धारयन्ति ते तत्र यमः सादना ते कृणोतु
út te stabhṇāmi pṛthivī́ṁ tvát parīmáṁ lógaṁ nidadhán mā́ aháṁ riṣam | etā́ṁ sthū́ṇāṁ pitáro dhārayanti té tátra yamáḥ sā́danaṁ te kṛṇotu ||
Up do I prop the Earth for thee, setting round about this region—may I suffer no hurt. This pillar the Fathers hold aloft for thee: there may Yama make for thee a seat, an abiding-place.
我为你撑起大地,在你周围安置此境域——愿我不受伤害。此柱由祖灵(Pitṛ)为你擎持:愿阎摩(Yama)在那里为你造作座位与居处。
