Sukta 7
ऋचः सामानि च्छन्दांसि पुराणं यजुषा सह। उच्छिष्टाज्जज्ञिरे सर्वे दिवि देवा दिविश्रितः
ṛ́caḥ sāmā́ni chándāṃsi purāṇáṃ yájuṣā sahá | ucchíṣṭāj jajñire sárve diví devā́ diviśritáḥ
The Ṛcs, the Sāmans, the metres, the ancient lore, together with the Yajus—all were born from Ucchiṣṭa: the Gods in heaven, heaven-established.
《梨俱》（Ṛc）颂、《娑摩》（Sāman）歌、诸韵律、古传（Purāṇa），并与《夜柔》（Yajus）同在——这一切都从乌च्छिष्ट（Ucchiṣṭa）而生：诸天神在天上，安住于天。
