Sukta 4
अभिवृष्टा ओषधयः प्राणेन समवादिरन्। आयुर्वै नः प्रातीतरः सर्वा नः सुरभीरकः
abhivŕ̥ṣṭā óṣadhayaḥ prāṇéna sámāvādiran | āyúr vái naḥ prá-ātītaraḥ sárvā naḥ surabhī́rakaḥ ||
The Herbs, well rained upon, have spoken forth in concord with Prāṇa: may Life, indeed, bear us across; and may all of them be for us of kindly fragrance and of gracious power.
蒙甘霖滋润的诸药草,与普拉那(Prāṇa,气息/生命息)同声相应而宣言:愿寿命(Āyus)确实渡我们越过诸难;愿它们一切于我等皆具芬芳之善香,并具慈惠之灵力。
