छिन्नधान्यपुरुषवीवधयोः छिन्नधान्यमन्यतो धान्यमानीय जङ्गमस्थावराहारं वा युध्येत न छिन्नपुरुषवीवधमनभिसारम् ॥ कZ_०८.५.१४ ॥
Transliteration
chinnadhānyapuruṣavīvadhayoḥ chinnadhānyam anyato dhānyam ānīya jaṅgamasthāvarāhāraṃ vā yudhyeta na chinnapuruṣavīvadham anabhisāram
Translation
在粮食供应被切断者与兵员及役畜/运输畜被大量杀伤者之间，应当攻击粮食被切断的一方——可从他处运粮，或依靠可移动与固定的给养维持；当兵员与运输畜已被毁灭且无法送入救援时，则不应交战。
