Sutra 9

गृहस्थस्य स्वधर्माजीवस्तुल्यैरसमानर्षिभिर्वैवाह्यमृतुगामित्वं देवपित्रतिथिपूजा भृत्येषु त्यागः शेषभोजनं च ॥ कZ_०१.३.०९ ॥

gṛhasthasya svadharmājīva-stulyair asamānaṛṣibhir vaivāhyaṃ ṛtugāmitvaṃ deva-pitṛ-atithi-pūjā bhṛtyeṣu tyāgaḥ śeṣa-bhojanaṃ ca

对居家者而言:与生计与本分(法)相当的伴侣结婚(而非与不相称的仙人/苦行者);夫妻之事仅限于适当的时节;祭祀神祇、祖先与宾客;对仆役慷慨;并且只吃在他人先用之后所剩的食物。
