शक्तिसम्पन्नो ह्यमित्रमुच्छिद्य पार्ष्णिग्राहमुच्छिन्द्यात् न हीनशक्तिरलब्धलाभः ॥ कZ_०७.१३.०२ ॥
śaktisampanno hy amitrām ucchidya pārṣṇigrāham ucchindyāt na hīnaśaktir alabdhalābhaḥ
强君当先铲除敌君,继而铲除袭其后者;力弱者得不到任何未曾既得之利。
Because splitting effort invites a two-front situation; a strong king can finish the main opponent and then remove the rear-threat decisively.
A weak king should not attempt ambitious new operations; he cannot reliably convert plans into secure gains.
