सुवर्णं पूर्वं निकष्य पश्चाद्वर्णिकां निकषयेत् ॥ कZ_०२.१३.१७ ॥

Transliteration

suvarṇaṃ pūrvaṃ nikaṣya paścād varṇikāṃ nikaṣayet

Translation

先把黄金在试金石上摩擦；随后再把参照色标（varṇikā）也在其上摩擦（以作比较）。
