FAQs

It teaches a fivefold set of Gaṇeśa bīja/epithet-mantras and specifies the operational rule for results: each has distinct fruit, and one-lakh japa is prescribed to obtain siddhi.

It exemplifies the text’s manual-like coverage of applied religious technology—cataloging mantras, their intended outcomes (phala), and measurable practice standards (japa-count), alongside the Purana’s broader subjects.

Regular japa of Gaṇeśa’s seed/epithet formulae is presented as a direct means to remove obstacles, secure victory, and attain ritual success—implying purification of impediments (vighna) and strengthening of auspicious beginnings.
