以双膝在地上前行之后,应向太阳奉献阿尔伽亚(敬水奠献)。继而以九只水罐——由行者自持相应真言加持——如法礼敬九曜(九大行星神),则仪式得成。

It gives a precise procedure for Sūryārghya and Navagraha-pūjā: approach in a humble kneeling posture, offer arghya to Sūrya, then worship the nine Grahas using nine kumbhas that have been mantra-consecrated according to one’s learned vidyā (authorized mantra set).
It records practical liturgical technique—posture, offering type (arghya), and a standardized nine-vessel setup for Navagraha worship—showing the Agni Purana’s role as a manual that compiles applied ritual, mantra-usage, and deity-propitiation methods alongside many other disciplines.
Offering arghya to Sūrya and propitiating the Navagrahas is taught as a purificatory, merit-generating act aimed at reducing adverse planetary influences (graha-doṣa) and supporting auspiciousness, clarity, and well-being through disciplined, reverent worship.
