शिष्य इति च विद्याध्वस्तप्रपञ्चावगाहितज्ञानावशिष्टं ब्रह्मैव शिष्यः ॥३१॥

Padapatha (Word Split)

शिष्यः । इति । च । विद्या-ध्वस्त-प्रपञ्च-अवगाहित-ज्ञान-अवशिष्टम् । ब्रह्म । एव । शिष्यः ॥

IAST Transliteration

śiṣya iti ca vidyā-dhvasta-prapañcāvagāhita-jñānāvaśiṣṭaṃ brahmaiva śiṣyaḥ ॥31॥

Translation

Và “đệ tử” — người mà nhờ trí tuệ thấu nhập thế giới hiện tượng và làm tan rã nó, điều còn lại chỉ là Brahman; người ấy thật là đệ tử.

Academic Translation

And ‘disciple’—that (one) in whom, through knowledge that has penetrated the phenomenal world and dissolved it, what remains is Brahman alone—he indeed is the disciple.
